Your cake request is stored locally and may be sent to us.

The Sunrise Bakery website works offline and stores a copy of each birthday cake request in the web browser on the device where you submit it. When the site is hosted with our contact service, it also sends the request to Sunrise Bakery so that staff can read it.

What we collect

The cake request form asks for your name, phone number or email address, cake size and flavour, pickup or delivery choice and date, and the message you choose to provide. The saved request also includes the time it was created.

How local storage works

Requests are saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key sunriseBakeryCakeRequests. This local copy remains available after you reload the page only in the same browser and on the same device.

How hosted delivery works

When you use a hosted copy of this site, your name, phone number or email address, cake details, requested date and message are sent to Sunrise Bakery through the site’s contact endpoint. If you open the site directly from local files or the site cannot confirm delivery, the browser copy still remains and you should call the bakery to follow up.

How your details are used

The browser copy is a convenient record of what you would like to order, and a delivered copy helps bakery staff respond. To discuss availability and confirm an order, call the bakery at +91 98765 43210. An order request saved by this site is not a confirmed order or payment.

Your choices and control

You can remove saved requests at any time by clearing site data or local storage in your browser settings. Clearing browser data, using private browsing, or changing devices may permanently remove the local copy. This does not delete a copy already delivered to Sunrise Bakery; contact the bakery if you want to ask about that copy.

Keeping information safe

Anyone who can access your browser profile may be able to view its stored data. Avoid entering sensitive information such as payment card numbers, passwords or identity documents in the message field.
